I am so excited that my song Just Me and You has been selected as a semi-finalists for the 2012 International Songwriting Competition (ISC). They received over 20,000 entries from 119 countries worldwide. (This song recently won the Grand Prize at the Dallas Songwriters Association Contest but this another International Competition.) I am very honored because songwriting is another element in music to be respected for. The list is arranged alphabetically by songwriter's name.

The next step is that this group of semi-finalists will be narrowed down to the finalists who will be sent to celebrity judges. Finalists will be announced at the end of February. Winners will be announced at the end of April.

This April I had the privilege to perform the National Anthem and 2 of my original songs during the opening ceremonies of the National Kidney Foundation Walk in Houston, TX. What an amazing experience and a fantastic cause!Thank you National Kidney Foundation!
